Building with bite in 2021, after meeting Chris and Mark at a team building event at Paignton Zoo. Nadia has animal welfare at the forefront in her work. Nadia has a passion for enclosure design and enrichment and thrives to create stimulating natural environments for all animals within her care. One of Nadia’s career highlights was developing a brand new echidna enclosure, which resulted in huge health and behavioural benefits to the echidna.

Nadia is an active member of British in-situ conservation, whereby each year she is part of a small team at Paignton zoo who cares for a number of Hazel dormice during a quarantine period before they are paired up and released back into the wild within the UK. This important work is saving the endangered hazel dormice from extinction.
