Hannah Jenkins

Hannah first met Mark and Chris in 2016 while attending a Student Environmental Enrichment Course hosted at Newquay Zoo. Since then, she has assisted with numerous SEECs, corporate team builds and conferences, including the Regional Environmental Enrichment Conference hosted at Chester Zoo in 2018.

Hannah has a lifelong passion for improving captive animal care and welfare standards. She graduated from the University of Exeter in 2016 with a BSc in Animal Behaviour and has held a range of animal-based volunteering positions.

Since graduating, Hannah has stayed in the beautiful countryside of Cornwall, where she works as an Animal Management Technician for Duchy College Rosewarne. Educating students and sharing her passion for animals is something she finds particularly rewarding.

Hannah hopes to have greater involvement with species conservation projects and animal rescue in the future. She is excited to continue a career with a strong focus on environmental enrichment, conservation and education.
